Project Specifications

We were invited to provide a shading solution for the new Conservatory dining area. The brief called for a system that would contribute to a “soft furnishings” aesthetic, while also being fully automated and simple for staff to operate.

The solution comprised four individually operated Alfresko Roman Cable Shades. Each shade was constructed using white solution-dyed acrylic fabric to maintain a light, refined appearance. A Somfy motorised system was specified, featuring a 5-channel remote that allows both individual and collective control of the shades.

Project Outcome.

The final installation delivers seamless, retractable sun protection that blends effortlessly into the interior design intent. Staff can now adjust the light and ambiance of the space with ease, ensuring guests enjoy both comfort and atmosphere throughout the day.
